Our precious recipes are a combination of carefully selected ingredients, organic when economically possible and always natural. The skin is our largest organ. It absorbs into the body much of what it comes in contact with. When choosing ingredients that we use in our products, we believe it must be good enough to eat and be beneficial for the skin.

These tiny purple berries are highly nutritious, they are exceptionally rich in a group of anti oxidants, and also contain omega -3 -6 and -9 fatty acids, minerals and vitamins. Acai berries are considered an energising superfood. they can be found in our Vitality Super Vitamin Balm, Vitality Super vitamin Cream, Vitality Super Vitamin Mist, and Vitality Super Vitamin Serum, Also, Sebum Control Anti-Acne Treatment Gel and the Sebum Control Anti-Acne Mattifying Fluid.
Sweet almond oil has long been known for its emollient properties, rich in vitamins E and D, it helps to balance water loss and the absorption of moisture. Filled with an array of essential fatty acids but the olein glyceride linoleic acid in this oil is what brings the pH of the skin back to its normal range, preventing and treating irritation and itching skin. Used in the Intensive Restoring facial moisturising balm and scrub and moisturise 2in1. Professional use facial Scrub, Professional use Mask Activator.
Aloe vera is a wonderful herb containing almost 20 amino acids, minerals like calcium, magnesium and sodium; it contains enzymes, vitamins, polysaccharides, nitrogen and other components that make it a miracle beauty herb. Aloe Vera is often used for the treatment of bruises and burns. It is a cellular regenerator and has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal effects. Used in our Intensive Body Cream and Intensive Shower Mousse and some of the facial products the Intensive Restoring Hydrating Cream, Intensive Restoring Hydrating Mist, Intensive Restoring Hydrating Serum and the Vitality Super Vitamin Cream, Vitality Super Vitamin Mist, Vitality Super Vitamin Serum.
Avocado yields a rich and extremely deep penetrating oil, with outstanding regenerative properties, rich in vitamins A, various B, D and E. It contains, potassium, proteins lecithin and beta carotene and more than 20% of unsaturated essential fatty acids (healthy fats), namely palmitic, palmitoleic, stearic, linoleic and linolenic. It also contains sterolins which are reputed to heal age spots, sun damage and scars. Used in our Intensive Body Cream, Intensive Body Balm, Firming Body Balm, Smoothing Hand Treatment and Just Balm for delicate or irritated skin.
Cocoa butter contains a large number of antioxidants which neutralise a wide range of free radicals, vitamins A, C and E in huge doses. It has long been touted as the be all and end all for stretch marks but there is no scientific proof, however cocoa butter is super moisturising and when applied to the skin, although it soaks in easily, it leaves a thin layer over the surface of the skin which acts as a protective barrier, slowing down the natural escape of moisture. Cocoa butter also contains a large number of bioavailable minerals, which work together with the vitamins to make it super hydrating. Used in the Intensive Hand Balm, the Firming Scrub Bar and the Intensive Scrub Bar.
Coconuts are full of lauric acids which have great antiviral, antimicrobial and antifungal properties. It contains vitamins A, E, C, and lots of the B’s, anti-oxidants and has a high mineral content. It has always been held in high esteem in Aurvedic medicine. Coconut milk is known to be moisturising, repairing and healing. We use it in our Firming Scrub bars. Together with cocoa butter for extra moisturising and poppy seeds for a gentle scrub, its an ideal way to exfoliate and prepare the skin when you are in a hurry.
This super-moisturising oil has a small molecular structure which allows for easy absorption through the skin, giving it a soft smooth texture. Pure virgin unrefined coconut oil benefits are long term, it contains vitamins and minerals but predominantly medium-chain fatty acids which hate harmful micro-organisims. Lauric acid, (the primary component in mother’s milk that protects babies from infection), is also the main antimicrobial medium-chain fatty acid in coconut oil. They destroy molecules that cause minor skin irritation and whats more, after it penetrates the pores of your skin, it will end up in your blood stream to strengthen your body’s immune system. Used in the Intensive Body Balm, Regenerating Hand Treatment, Firming Scrub Bar, Intensive Body Cream, Intensive Hand Balm, Firming Body Balm, Just Balm and Intensive Restoring Facial Moisturiser Balm, Shower Mousse and the Vitality Super Vitamin Balm.
Evening Primrose Oil:
Evening primrose oil contains a very concentrated essential fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which the body converts into prostaglandins, a substance that functions to help regulate cell reproduction. Additionally, it contains a balance of omega 3 and 6. Because it’s loaded with essential fatty acids, evening primrose oil benefits your skin by helping to soften and rehydrate it, even below the surface. It is extremely helpful in the treatment of many skin ailments including dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and other conditions where dry, scaly skin is a problem. Used in the Intensive Restoring Facial Moisturiser, Intensive Restoring Hydrating Cream.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil:
With over 50% oleic acid, olive oil is moisturising, regenerating, softening and is well absorbed by the skin. It contains vitamin E and is known to contain lots of squalene (which makes up about 12% of our natural skin sebum) so it penetrates the skin easily and softens the skin well. Its high in phytosterols which can a have a huge effect on skin harmed or damaged by environmental influences, and polyphenols which help to repair damaged cells and increase cell regeneration. Used in Intensive Body Balm, Regenerating Hand Treatment, Firming Body Balm, Intensive Restoring Facial Moisturising Balm , Intensive Restoring Hydrating Cream and the Just balm.
Goji berries are packed with essential nutrients, including zinc, magnesium, and iron, which make them great for cosmetic application. With close to twenty amino acids, goji berries can help to protect and reconstruct the look of healthy skin, penetrating into the underlying layers of tissue to provide the nutrients the skin needs.
With more than twenty minerals, goji promotes stronger skin, which not only looks younger and healthier, but is more resilient to damage from the environmental pollutants we come into contact with everyday. we use goji berries in our Vitality Super Vitamin Balm, Vitality Super Vitamin Cream, Vitality Super Vitamin Serum, Vitality super Vitamin Mist.
Jojoba is unique compared to other seed oils, largely comprised of wax mono esthers. It is more like a wax than an oil and is structurally and chemically very similar to the human sebum produced by our skin glands. Jojoba is an antioxidant and will protect your skin from the damaging effect of free radicals but will not cause a greasy feeling or clog pores. It contains different varieties of tocopherols which make up Vitamin E, B complex and many minerals. Used in Vitality Super Vitamin Balm.
Litsea Cubeba Oil:
Often referred to as may chang, exotic verbena or tropical verbena, litsea cubeba oil is refreshing and stimulating making it a great pick me up, the perfect tonic for clearing your head when you are feeling anxious or overworked. Used in the Scrub and moisturise and Smoothing Hand treatment.
Mango butter is obtained from the kernels of the mango tree. It has good emolliency and reduces degeneration of skin cells and restores elasticity. It is full of vitamins and nourishing essential fatty acids which offer great softening and moisturising to the skin and some great polyphenols, powerful antioxidants with anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory benefits. Used in Intensive Restoring Facial Moisturising Balm, Vitality Super Vitamin Balm, Smoothing hand treatment and intensive body balm.
Rice Bran Oil:
Rice bran oil is sometimes considered the worlds healthiest oil, it contains Saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, Vitamins and also contains Vitamin E, Because of the prescense of Vitamin E it is used in skincare to prevent aging, you can obtain a younger looking, wrinkle free and glowing skin with use of this oil, this oil is used in our Intensive Hand Balm and Vitality Super Vitamin Cream
Pink Grapefruit Oil:
Pink grapefruit oil is perfect for uplifting the spirit, energising and renewing self-esteem. Not only that but it has beneficial toning and astringent effects. It stimulates the lymphatic system and helps to remove toxins from the body. It makes an excellent tonic as it increases circulation and tones skin cells. Used in the Firming range of products to uplift, tone and detox, Used in the Firming Scrub bars, Firming Body Balm.
Shea butter comes from the nuts of Karite Nut trees that grow in Africa. It revitalises, softens and maintains skin moisture. It is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F which are essential for good skin balance. Along with the healing qualities of the fatty acids (palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, and arachidic), shea butter contains catechins, plant antioxidants also found in green tea. It is particularly helpful for sun damaged skin and in helping to prevent premature ageing. It acts as a moisturiser, protector and rejuvenator and is exceptionally soothing for dry or chapped skin, is easily absorbed and wont clog pores. Used in intensive body balm, Smoothing hand treatment, hot oil massage candle, Intensive body cream,Intensive hand balm, Scrub and Moisturise, and Intensive Restoring Facial Moisturising Balm. Spirilina is a type of oceanic algae, that contains a wide array of nutrients. Spirilina increases skin metabolism to allow faster skin cell turnover and skin healing, and help prevent bacteria growth that can cause avne breakouts. Spirilina is used in our Vitality Super Vitamin Balm, Vitality Super Vitamin Cream, Vitality Super Vitamin Serum, Vitality Super Vitamin Mist.
Soya Bean Oil:
Soyabean oil has a ton of great fatty acids and lots of vitamin E to help with skin softening and moisturising. It contains omega 3 and 6 both which have great benefits for the skin and it contains high levels of phytosterols and isoflavones. The phytosterols help to soothe chapped or sunburned skin and the isoflavones behave as phytoestrogens ( it can counteract the negitave effect of oestrogen loss on the skin). It is lightweight and easily absorbed, improves skin hydration, smoothness and firmness. Used in intensive body balm, Smoothing hand treatment, Intensive Hand Balm, scrub and moisturise 2in1 and hot oil massage candle.
Sweet Orange Oil:
Sweet orange oil is uplifting, yet calming and creates a sunny, cheery atmosphere at any time of the year. It has a stimulating and toning effect and is used to reduce anger, promote relaxation and peace of mind. Used in the Intensive and also the Firming range of products to uplift and improve the overall mood.
Wheatgrass prevents damage from free radicals. It has natural anti- ageing properties which aid in rejuvenating the cells, it tackles the problem of sagging, and maintains skin elasticity restoring the youthful glow of your skin, this is used in our Vitality Super Vitamin Balm, Vitality Super Vitamin Cream, Vitality Super Vitamin Mist and Vitality Super Vitamin Serum.
Vitamin E Oil:
Vitamin E known as the “skin vitamin” is well known for promoting healthy and clear skin. This amazing natural oil is one of the main ingredients in all our products as it fights free radicals from the environment such as pollution and sun damage, can smooth and heal the skin from cracks and dryness. It reduces the appearance of age spots and helps to repair skin tissue.
